Kurt James

(b. circa 1940)

Blackford High School JV and Varsity baseball player; has an older brother Sam and sister. His best friend is Tommy. He works as lawn boy for Ryan Hartinger. At age 15, realizes he is attracted to Angel Engler and soon afterwards begins a relationship with him. He collects coins. He is good friends with the Nudo twins, who have confided their relationship to him. Tyler is especially close having had a crush on him. As adult, he hyphenates his name James-Engler and runs a farm with Angel. Thad Thomas is their grandchild.
